Portland Gay Men's Chorus held their annual Gala in a venue capable of projection mapped content. Their theme was Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I found good images of the specific cemetery featured in the film, and used Photoshop's generative expand feature to extend the images to the size of the composition. 87 composited layers later, I had created an installation that turned from twilight, to dusk, to midnight, with mood and color changes to match. The statue from dusk changes from slightly aged stone to looking monstrous, and the candles go from white to purple, with the shadows turning from a brown color to a haunting red.
